Crumbling Castle

Crumbling Castle

I’m laying in the darkness and I see you still awake

Staring at the blackness

And everything that’s fake

There’s a castle all around you

That you built so high

Now you’re lying here inside it

Living out a lie

When I touch your hand do you still feel lonely?

When I kiss your lips are you really there?

When I look in your eyes do you see through my disguise?

Have we starved ourselves of air?

Now the walls are crumbling

The garden too has died

Birds no longer call

And all my tears have dried

Our rings are chains around us

Dungeons hold each heart

Our masquerade with joker masks

Hides what’s torn apart

REPEAT CHORUS
